Advanced Biomedical Engineering will revise the Instructions to Authors on April 1, 2026, in accordance with the revision of the article publishing charges (APCs).

Authors who submit articles on or after April 1, 2026, are required to pay an article publishing charge (APC) upon acceptance for publication.

A discounted APC will be applied if either the first author or the corresponding author is a member of the Japanese Society for Medical and Biological Engineering (JSMBE).

All articles will be published open access.
